The client question was: We have mothballed our CCGT a few years ago. As the power market is recovering, should we restart? If so, how should we approach that?
Approach
We provided an overview of the power market and the potential asset mission of the plant. Results showed a re-start was feasible, but that a relative high risk appetite was required. To limit the risk, a partnership structure was advised. We structured 3 potential partnership agreements and provided a long list of potential partners
The Results
A project to de-mothball the plant was started.
